ClearVuze

ClearVuze is a startup developing solutions for understanding a scene, based on video captured by drones. The company is led by several entrepreneurs with proven track records at building successful businesses.
The App Design

The aim of this project was to design two different apps that are specified for two different user flows ; The main main app that contains an chat onboarding and a social and video-sharing platform dedicated to event participants, and another app containing a technical area setup as well as flight, filming and chat management dedicated for the drone pilots. As it’s a specific and relatively small target group, it was crucial to create an app with a strong community building factor. That’s why the design process was based on a comprehensive UX research.

The apps were based on the ClearVuze branding, taking under consideration the different restrictions, coming up with solutions suitable for all different audiences and user flows.

The Onboarding Chat

Users chatting with the drone’s chatbot and letting the drone know their exact location and the type of activity they are doing, through a series of questions and response screens. the drone will position itself according to their answers, for an optimal filming mode.

the main challenge here was to translate this elaborate operation into a simple and intuitive interface, and a flow of conversation was built between man and drone.

Location, Share & Social Feed

The app was designed to make a perfect location and film setup becouse it was crusial to make the best video expirence to share – all aspects of this system came down to one goal: SHARING. making unique, Instagrammable videos that’s made available in real-time, all in order to maximise customer engagement and social media presence – delivering captivating, personalized videos that are designed for social sharing. capturing the magic of experiences and turning them into marketing moments.

the main feed will incorporate all event participants, sending them in real time live shots from the drone’s camera feed. Participants are able to get the video on their mobile phones, while remaining fully present and engaged in their experiences.

The Operator App

The customer facing social app was followed by the operator app, having to create a complex set up in different landscape features as well as having all drone flight capabilities such as take off, camera settings, landing etc., and have the ability to manage and chat with the users attending the event.
